Evening primrose oil Traditional recommended daily amount: Use about 10% Evening primrose oil to 90% of a lighter carrier oil such as Wheatgerm, Sweet Almond or Grapeseed oil. Take 1-2 teaspoons daily.

This beautiful radiant orange yellow botanical oil has many uses. Calendula or Marigold oil as it is sometimes called is a macerated oil. This means that the plant matter is infused in a base oil, then removed, leaving the active phytochemicals of the plant in the base oil. It is traditionally used as a skin healer treating damaged sore and chapped skin.
The flowers make an excellent tea which is soothing and anti-fungal.

Calendula / Marigold oil Traditional recommended daily amount: Use 10% Calendula oil to a 90% ratio of a lighter carrier oil such as Sweet Almond, Grapeseed or Wheatgerm oil. Use 30ml of this blend for a full body massage. It can be applied directly to a troubled skin area.
To make Calendula tea: 1 teaspoon of flowers to 1 cup of hot water.

Whole Almond Traditional recommended daily amount: There is no upper dosage for Almonds as they are mild enough to be consumed liberally, however a handful of Almonds are day is known to be a healthy dose. Daily serving size 145g.
Sweet Almond oil can be used for skin care and as a massage carrier oil, use approximately 30ml for a full body massage.
Sweet Almond oil can also be used in food preparation.
Contraindications of Whole Almond : None known, however not to be consumed by those with a nut allergy.
Peach Kernel Oil - Aromatherapy Oil
Latin name: Prunus persica
This Light fine botanical oil is similar to Almond oil. Peach kernel suits all skin types however it is particularly good for mature, dry, sensitive skin. It is excellent for use on baby and infant skin.
BLENDS WELL WITH: Almond oil, with Peach kernel in a smaller ratio as it is more costly. Can be blended with all essential oils.
